It is still quite cool for the time of the year here in my little village on the Mediterranean Sea, and being the end of May that is pretty nice indeed.
The middle of June will bring highs of about 78 and lows of around 62F, which is still pretty comfortable for the start of the summertime season.
But when July comes those cooler temps disappear and make way for some pretty hot weather for the following two months or so. September is hot at the start of the month but by the middle of the month you’ll need heating in the mornings to warm up. So we basically have about two months or so of brutal heat and then it is all over. I am going to work for the HVAC business this summer and enjoy the whole crazy season when all of the tourists invade the local businesses and basically take over the town. It is nice though because by the time the first of September rolls around this place starts to shut down and get quiet for the winter. It should be a fun summer and I am looking forward to cleaning my air conditioning system and having some ice cold a/c for the hot months. I will play a ton of volleyball and a bunch of music in the band and hopefully come out with 25 new songs by the time summer is over with. We will play for the cooling corp during the summer and also in the streets to make a bit of money.
