Get that boiler ready for winter

Wow, today was unquestionably freezing when I went for my bike ride to the coast.

  • The air temp was just a bit above freezing, about 35F, and the sea temp was 55F.

It took all of my tenacity to strip down to my board shorts and go in the water with the coldness outside and the pressing waves pounding me. I think I stayed in the sea for only about five minutes because I was getting hammered with some pretty pressing waves. I talked to a surfer neighbor for a bit and then had to come home to my furnace and boiling bath. It took me about 15 minutes to hot myself up in the boiling bath and now I am feeling alright as I sit in my office and do my work. I am going to adjust the control component on my boiling water heater so that I don’t run out of boiling water when I take these baths. I think I can crank it up about 20 degrees and I should have plenty of boiling water for my baths. I think the heating business told me that my associate and I have a month of freezing weather, so it looks like I will be running my boiler for a bit longer before giving it a break. Summer will be here soon though and my associate and I will be playing songs in all of the beach bars in town and having a lot of fun. I want to buy a modern Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system next year so hopefully my associate and I can do a lot of gigs and bring in a bunch of currency.
