Keep in mind of electrical system in house when installing A/C

He called the electrician just to make sure that the air conditioning unit would be compatible with the outlet

This past summer was one of the hottest summer on record. We had to watch the amount of water that we used each week because we were in a drought. I felt really bad for a lot of the farmers in our area because they had to implement water systems that costed them a lot of money. Everyone’s lawns were burnt and brown, it wasn’t the typical lush green grass that you would normally see during the summer. We ran our air conditioning unit about every day because the temperature was between 85 to 95 degrees each day. There was one unfortunate day where our air conditioning unit stopped working. We immediately called our HVAC technician because we did not want to face one day without cooling. It turned out that we needed to replace our air conditioner. There was more repairs that needed to be done and it costed more money so we figured we might as well replace it. The unit was over 10 years old and we wanted a more modern one that saved energy. When replacing our a/c the HVAC technician stressed about our electrical system too. He said when replacing an old air conditioning unit with a new one it’s important to keep in mind of the different voltage. He called the electrician just to make sure that the air conditioning unit would be compatible with the outlet. I was glad that our technician went above and beyond for us. We didn’t even have to pay for the electrician to come to our home.
