My boyfriend and I rent a small condo in Chicago, IL.
For years my pal and I had been trying to buy the arena from our landlord.
We desperately wanted to make the condo ours. The guy is unwilling to sell. I get it. He makes a mint renting out in Chicago, IL. We pay top dollar for the location. Now that it has been a few years, I am cheerful my pal and I don’t own the arena. I now know everything that is wrong with it. The floor in the lavatory is shot and needs to be redone. There is a bit of moisture harm on the ceiling. There is a tree in the backyard that is going to fall on the condo someday. Most recently my pal and I have been dealing with an AC repair. My boyfriend has called our landlord many times about our Chicago AC repair. The guy hasn’t done anything about it. I guess he knows my pal and I are moving out soon. So why fix the AC if my pal and I are leaving in the winter? Seems shady to me. My boyfriend thinks he might have the repair. He thinks our outdoor air compressor to the system is slightly off-center. It is tilted to the side so all the coolant is rushing to one end. That way when the air blows in the system, no refrigerant is getting blown over it. So the air isn’t being called. With a few stone blocks, my boyfriend thinks he can fix it. I absolutely hope that is what our Chicago, IL AC service is. I don’t want to go a whole Summer without cooling.
