I am working for another half hour and then I’ll get out of here and take a walk.
My cats are all fat and happy and quiet again, settling down for a full day of slumber on various fluffy surfaces in my flat.
They like to sleep on towels and blankets or anything that is soft, which are many locations in my flat. They seem to like about five different spots in my flat though, one of them being the spot where their food bowl is. I soaked their dry cat food in water this morning using my hot water heater to make the water hot so it absorbs quicker. They like the soft food because it is easy to shovel in their mouths without having to crunch the small spheres to swallow them. The cooling rep told me about this little trick and some nights I soften the food in a tupperware container in the fridge for the morning. When they eat the soft food it is much quieter and they eat it all in about a third of the time compared to the hard nugget morning feasts. The air conditioner is purring now which is reminding me that summer is coming and the temps will be heating up very soon. It is the start of June and Mother Nature is right on time with her season to start. The HVAC business is open again and is going to get flooded soon with heating and cooling clients looking for ways to cool down their flats this coming summer. It should be a fun time this summer.
