These mornings, I feel like everything is electronic.
Nobody uses analog notes, communication, or planning anymore, however everything is kept in the palm of your hand on a fancy smartphone and synced up to a iPad somewhere.
There’s no shortage of intelligent appliances in every aspect of your life… Your refrigerator can now send you reminders about grocery list. Your washing and drying device can ping you when the loads are done. Even your automobile is now a full-fledged smart device. That’s why it’s no wonder that I get confused sometimes when random alarms are going off; I have no idea where to start looking when a dinging or ringing starts, and recently, I was going pretty batty because of an ongoing mystery with an alarm at my house. I assumed it was coming from my phone at first..! But had no fortune identifying the app that was making such an frustrating sound. I spent mornings feeling like I was going out of my mind, hearing this dinging sound every so often. It took me over two weeks to figure out that it was my smart control unit, then apparently, the control device had been set up to send me notifications for all sorts of heating and cooling system concerns. If my energy expenditure was higher one afternoon than expected, the control device was trying to get my attention! When I needed to change out the air filter, the control device wanted me to be prepared a week ahead of time. When am I Heating and A/C system went offline during a power failure, the control device used to reserve battery to send out an SOS. All this time, my control units been trying its hardest to communicate with me and I’ve been too sad with other smart applications.
