The kitchen in my condo is big! It is part of a really open floor plan and the ideal area for family and friends to gather; My associate and I utilize the kitchen for seeing television and movies, playing video games and board games, relaxing, learning and entertaining. I want the room to be accessible, comfortable and wonderful. I was not cheerful with game controllers, cords, electronic components, puzzles, games, books and all sorts of stuff lying all over the floor, and when I packed them into multiple totes, it was hard to find things and didn’t look all that nice. When I shopped for an entertainment center, I realized that nothing available suited my certainations; The chances I found were too small, didn’t give sufficient storage and were poorly constructed. Most of the entertainment centers for sale at local furniture stores are made out of pressboard and veneers. I finally contacted a custom furniture builder, he was wonderfully expertiseable and helpful. He asked me questions and made suggestions, but because of his assistance, I was able to come up with a design and dimensions that fit the layout of the kitchen, content my preferences and accommodated our storage requirements; Along with choosing the height, width and depth, I was able to be certain about shelving, drawers and hardware. It took a while for the entertainment center to be completed… Every aspect of the piece was constructed by hand. I was amazed by how heavy the entertainment center is. Now that it’s in location in the kitchen, we won’t be moving it. I plan to keep it forever. I just cherish it.
