Fixed heater; pet won’t leave heating to go outside

A few months ago I was feeling severely restless & unhappy with my life.

I felt like something was missing & it was completely empty.

I didn’t see any purpose to waking up every afternoon & I was start to slip into a real depressive streak. That’s when I went out with an adopted a cat. I’ve been wanting a pet of my own for multiple years, but put off making a big decision. I figured, when I met the right pet I would just know, but sure enough, when I saw my new puppy there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that she was the one for me. I brought him property & everything was amazing, until the air temperature started to dip. Apparently, my puppy was rescued from FL! She had no concept of winter season or low outdoor air temperatures. More importantly, she was not at all prepared for my heating system to fail in the middle of the night; One afternoon, I woke up & found my puppy under the blankets with me. She refused to get out of bed & I quickly realized that the indoor air temperature had harshly decreased overnight. When I check the temperature control, the temperature readout was only 55°… Clearly, my HVAC system was not working properly. I called out the local heating & cooling specialist & forked over a ton of money for an emergency heating system repair. The HVAC supplier made my heating system run like it was in tip-top shape. Finally, my pet was less cold & pathetic now that there was modern heating. The only concern is, now she refuses to leave the warm indoor air & go outside.
