I called my friends over to have a surprise anniversary party for my partner.
We had everything planned out.
My best buddy helped me plan the party since she’s an event planner. It was superb to have her help because without her my apartment wouldn’t look as expensive for his anniversary as it does now. We had all sorts of hor dourves, fruit and vegetable platters, pasta, meats and of course desserts. We had decorations put up to exaggerate my partner being “over the hill.” It easily was expensive that was stated by my friend, the event planner. We waited for him in the dark. He was on his way condo when he gave me a call. We shut the lights and all huddled around waiting to scream, “Surprise!” All of a sudden I heard my Heating and A/C system kick on. My friend’s partner told me that the noise was easily loud for the system to be kicking on like that, but not even a minute later my friend and I heard rattling. It sounded like the ductwork was about to come out of the ceiling. My partner’s buddy stated again that I should contact our Heating and A/C provider once the party is over, I agreed with him. We continued along with the party, my partner was easily surprised and was so grateful that everyone could celebrate his big 50th anniversary. I didn’t want to tell my partner because I knew that he would want to get the problem fixed immediately, then the next morning our Heating and A/C professional told us that two pieces of our ductwork that joined together ended up getting loose.
