The older I get, the more I wonder if marriage is a realistic institution these days, but back in prehistoric times & throughout most of human history, it made sense that people fired up & spent their lives together, however frankly, they only had 10 or 20 years to worry about, however these days, you are looking at 60 or 75 years with somebody, then if you ask me, that sounds completely irritated.
Maybe this is just my jaded opinion after a few years of a difficult marriage, when my partner & I first got together, I thought that my pal and I were a match made in heaven, however now, I think that my pal and I were paired together for eternal suffering.
It’s not that either of us as a exhausting person, just that my pal and I are unquestionably different, and even the simple things in life, like setting the temperature control, become large issues in our house. My partner is regularly a million degrees too warm, & I am regularly chilly cold. When my pal and I try to establish an indoor air temperature starting for the central heating & cooling system, it often turns into a week-long battle. My buddy and I have completely odd needs & perspectives when it comes to our energy usage. The one time of afternoon that my pal and I used to get along was when night would settle. Then, I also want the air temperature to be much lower in the house. For multiple years, this was our respite from endless battling with each other over the temperature control settings, then unluckyly, my partner recently had a warning from her dentist about keeping her heart healthy, apparently, she needs warmer temperatures at night for easy circulation. Now, my pal and I have no familiar ground when it comes to HVAC settings. Every night, I am sleeping with the window open while she has a space heating system next to the bed.
