I brag all winter season long. Heat pump in the south.

Whenever I come apartment and visit my family they try to convince me that it would be a wise idea to move back to the Midwest.

Honestly, they only feel this way because they have never lived anywhere outside of the state.

It’s simple to know that you are residing in the best location when you refuse to venture to any foreign places, and personally, I am more than thrilled residing down in the semi-tropical now, mostly because it means I get to avoid winter. I am not a fan of ice air frigid air, snow, or ice. I do not need to rely on my central furnace for 8 months out of the year. I do not love the feeling of walking into sub-zero temperatures and struggling to survive in the bitter cold. I also do not care about handing all of my money over to the Energy corporation for an inefficient forced air heating system that barely manages to keep my indoor air quality steady or comfortable. That’s why, I like to return my family’s nonsense by bragging about my super eco-friendly heat pump down south. The air temperature is so modest all winter season long that I can honestly rely on a geothermal heat pump for all of my central heating needs. This means, I do not need to pay the energy corporation a single dime because I am relying on the passive energy transfer from deep underground into my home. It effectively heats my apartment without requiring a single space heating system or heating system to be operated all winter season long. When my family tries to shove their ideals in my face, I just show them my energy bill.
