Periodically I get legitimately distraught when my partners ask me about my love language. This seems like a conversation that comes up in every romantic relationship I’ve been in for the past few years. I agree that it’s important to know how the other celebration gives plus receives tokens of appreciation.., but I also feel kind of judged to reveal that my most important love language is receiving gifts from my partner. I wish that it didn’t paint me in such a materialistic light, because I feel that that’s an unfair judgment. The truth is, I don’t savor costly rings or extravagant fur coats. I just want realistic, functional gifts that can improve my life. That’s why I was completely blown away when my significant other surprised me with a smart control component last month. For many months I had been complaining to him about my uncomfortable indoor air temperature. I was legitimately exhausted of having hot plus cold patches throughout the dwelling every afternoon. I also didn’t love the sensation of coming house to an ice-cold dwelling before the central furnace was running each afternoon; My girl was obviously listening legitimately closely to my air quality complaints plus thinking about a potential solution for my air temperature woes. The afternoon that I came house plus found that she had replaced my seasoned dial control component with a brand-new smart temperature control component I nearly cried, but after seeing how much she cared about my indoor air issues plus took the initiative to get me a new Heating plus A/C solution, I feel this is going to be the woman that I marry.
