I honestly don’t know what has happened in the last few years, but it turns out that my mom has absolutely chilled out, and growing up, she was a bit… Difficult. She’s typically been seriously upset & neurotic. As such there have been many challenges with us on a personal level. Her energy was typically difficult for me to be around & her controlling nature made it absolutely hard for anyone to grow up in the same cabin as her. I have to say, now that I am a grown adult & she is entering aged age, my mom is abruptly super cool. Maybe too cool. You see, when I was a kid I remember that she absolutely hated using the central heating & cooling system. She was so upslim about spending currency that she refused to operate the forced air boiler or a/c component unless it was absolutely necessary. This meant, unless the cabin was literally cold or hot hot, my friend and I were not going to touch the control unit! Recently, I have been visiting her & everything has changed. If I mention that I am uncomfortable, she absolutely offers to adjust the central heating & cooling system settings instantly. These mornings, she absolutely loves her central cooling system to the extent that I am uncomfortably cold. After so many Summers of burning up, unable to sleep in my boiling sheets because she would not use the AC unit… Now she blasts the cabin with ice cold air until I put on many layers of sweatshirts & blankets. I don’t know what happened with her Heating & A/C preferences, but Mom seriously has gotten way too chill for my comfort.
