Really wish the dog would get away from the air vents

I’ve been staying with my mom for the past several weeks and it’s getting to the point where she’s starting to annoy me.

We were doing well for a long time, but now I am officially waiting for the day when I can go back to my hometown. Besides having a lot of anxious energy and neuroticism, I find that it’s difficult to live in her house without upsetting her and her dog. In fact, I might be more annoyed by her enormous, obese dog than anything else. You see, this giant beast is continually making life difficult for everybody inside of the home. His favorite activity is laying around on top of the air vents, which definitely complicates the central heating and cooling situation. Every day, I walked out of my room and find him lying directly on top of one of the important air vents that provides critical air conditioning to the entire house. He’s obviously figured out that cool, dry air streams from these various air ducts outlets. Therefore, he pops his fat body down directly on top of the vent to absorb all of the ice cold air. This makes uneven hot and cold patches throughout the house and creates temperature fluctuations depending on where his furry body is laying. The worst part, however, is his insistence on being right next to the air return vent. His fur is constantly being sucked up into the air return vents, which then distributes his dander and nasty smells throughout the entire house thanks to the central HVAC system. When I tell my mom that I hate her dog, she gives me the saddest face… But I really can’t stand this air conditioner ruining animal.
