Moving from the north east to the south was a honestly hard transition for me.
All of my family lives in the Northeast. I have a feeling that it’s going to be hard on holiday’s especially around Christmas to go back up north and celebrate with them. I hope that there are some Christmas’ where they will come and visit me in the south. I shall use the excuse to come escape the snow to experience the warm weather. There are some major transitions from moving to warm weather since I’m now using my cooling system more than my furnace. I have a humidifier, whereas in my outdated house I didn’t have a humidifier that went with my Heating and A/C system. I was even unsure when to turn the AC on. I would wait until it got too warm in my home. I would turn my fans off and then turn the AC on. However I did cherish going to the beach in the middle of February. I decided to call an Heating and A/C provider to talk to them about my modern Heating and A/C system. I asked them when I should be turning on my cooling system and they said I should set my programmable thermostat to 71. He said once the temperature in my home goes past 71 then the air conditioner will kick on. I was honestly fortunate to have wonderful experience with this Heating and A/C provider. I didn’t want to spend any more money or waste energy on using my cooling system when it wasn’t needed.
